I'm now officially allowed to share with you that our little journalism startup called adFreeq was selected along with 25 other startups from around the world to present tomorrow at the LAUNCH! conference in San Francisco. Unfortunately, I can't share what adFreeq is about until after our announcement tomorrow afternoon. But instead of me telling you what it is you'll be able to actually watch my business partner Chris Eckhardt and myself demonstrate it live online tomorrow afternoon. We're the last of a group of companies that will be presenting from 10:45 AM to 12:30 PM PST (12:45 PM - 2:30 CST) We're guessing we'll appear in the last 45 minutes or so.
Obviously we'll be showing newly functioning software, and we'll be nervous as all get-out - so it may be a bit shaky -but we're giving it our best shot. There's over $1,000,000 dollars in startup funding available for the various category winners. It adds a level of intensity to the event.
If you're interested in seeing other amazing companies and technologies being announced - the full LAUNCH! event starts online today at 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the same tomorrow. We've seen some of the new technologies and they're super cool.
