Despite her dying battery, Neelam takes the time to delete her erroneous post and replace it with an explanation of the false alarm.
Neelam exits the bus and for the first time all day things begin to go smoothly. She arrives at the Massachusetts offices of Sidley, Austin and Swain and asks the receptionist where the closing is taking place. She is directed to the appropriate conference room and delivers the needed closing documents to a group of very relieved and happy partners.
The closing is in progress and not much credence has been given to the nuclear warning. The location remains outside the red zone. One of the partners pulls Neelam aside – and comments on her responsible handling of her online comments: “We were getting worried when we saw all the posts – but we appreciate the updates you made. That was quick thinking on your feet; we need that in our lawyers.”
