Collaboration Culture

Bill Bledsoe is a multi-faceted marketing, technology and ecommerce leader who has been a part of companies like Microsoft, AT&T, Brown Shoe Company/Caleres and Omnicom Group. Bledsoe serves as worldwide site operations manager for emerging devices at Microsoft Store. In that role, Bledsoe is responsible for the global online ecommerce experience of Microsoft’s emerging devices like Lumia Phone, Microsoft Band and Microsoft HoloLens. Bledsoe’s previous experience took him through the eCommerce business, strategic developer marketing, software program/product/project management, technical communication and Web development roles, and even started his career as a combination traffic reporter and golf professional!

Along the way, Bledsoe has seen many different collaboration platforms cobbled together (both technology and process-wise) and has found some key components that work well for globally distributed teams. When not busy collaborating on an hourly basis, as a proud dad, University of Missouri School of Journalism (Mizzou) graduate and “Sporto,” you’ll find Bledsoe either in-route to a kid activity, gathered with other Mizzou Tiger fans in Seattle yelling “M-I-Z,” or rooting for the Seahawks, Sounders or St. Louis Cardinals. Somehow between all of that Bledsoe finds time to sit on the board of directors for the Oregon Crusaders, a performance art organization based in Portland.
