Hannah Artman is a post-doctoral research fellow in local news at the School of Journalism. Her current work focuses on multidisciplinary approaches to understanding local news audiences, publication distribution, and alternative media networks. She graduated from the University of Miami with her PhD in 2024 where her dissertation explored Spanish-language populist disinformation networks on YouTube. Previously, she worked as a political campaign and media consultant based out of Miami, FL.
