The Trusting News project, staffed by Joy Mayer and Lynn Walsh, is designed to demystify the issue of trust in journalism. They research how people decide what news is credible, then turn that knowledge into actionable strategies for journalists. The project is funded by the Reynolds Journalism Institute, the Knight Foundation and Democracy Fund.

RJI announces 2018-19 class of fellows

The Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute has awarded nine fellowships for the 2018–19 academic year that address ways to reach underserved audiences, improve the quality and reach of video and data-driven stories, coordinate the coverage of breaking news and help high school students identify reliable sources of news and information.

RJI Fellowship delivers digital services to publishers for local businesses

Individuals or organizations can apply for 2018-19 fellowships at the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute through Jan. 31. During the application season, we will publish Q&As with a few of our past fellows to find out how the fellowships benefited their organizations and what advice they have for applicants.
